Continuous logs of our web server activity are maintained. These logs record the details of your IP address, browser type and the last page you visited and individuals cannot be personally identified from this data. We use this information to analyse usage of our website.

Cookies are small files downloaded on to a device when a user accesses a website. They are used for a range of reasons including collecting the individual browsing data mentioned above. You can choose to block cookies by adjusting your browser settings although doing this can sometimes affect the functionality of a website.

• Information is not transferred from the ESPA website to third party websites.

Subscribing to our mailing list

We will record your personal information when you opt to sign up to our newsletter. We will use this information only to communicate ESPA-related information and other news relevant to our community.

We use software service Mailchimp to distribute our newsletter. Mailchimp is owned by the Rocket Science Group in the US, which stores the information you provide us outside of the EU. Please read their privacy and security policies before subscribing to our mailing list.

Online surveys

We will occasionally use online surveys to collect personal information. For this, we use online tool SurveyMonkey, which stores its information securely in the EU. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties and we will not make any personally identifiable information gathered from surveys publicly available without prior consent.
